Hocking Hills ~ Ohio State Park

As we mentioned in our last post, the state park Hocking Hills in Logan, Ohio is gorgeous! It is full of colorful rock formations, streams, waterfalls, caves, and hiking trails. Walking through this park was like walking through an enchanted forest. With the stone bridges, toadstools, and a variety of butterflies, we were waiting for the trolls and fairies to make an appearance!
We hope to make another trip to this park sometime in the Fall...when the colors change and it is a little less humid. ;) We'll keep you posted.

Jeanine & Jason ~ Engaged!

Where do we begin to tell the story of these two very amazing people? Jeanine and Jason have been together for about a year and a half and you can tell they were meant to be with each other. Both are unique, and adventurous people... and they complement each other so well you hardly ever see them apart. They are loving and loyal friends. And on top of it all they are just plain 'ol fun and silly!   Adrianne and Jeanine have known each other for over 20 years... and we are excited to welcome Jason into the whirlwind friendship.
Jeanine and Jason wanted to do some different for their photos. Jeanine found a state park in Ohio called Hocking Hills. This park is made up of various rock formations, forests, waterfalls, and hiking trails. It was a breathtaking area and perfect for pictures. We made a weekend out of it and stayed at a bed & breakfast place called Ravenwood Castle. This gave us the opportunity to get some very unique photos.

Class of 2013: Evan & Sean

This past weekend we shot our first High School Senior pictures, and we had so much fun! Twins, Evan and Sean, will be granduating high school in 2013. Both are genuinely nice guys, and were troopers during the long photo shoot.  :)
We started out with the formal stuff, then moved on to more casual, fun photos.  George George Memorial Park in Clinton Township, MI was a perfect stop to get some relaxed photos with a variety of backdrops. Then, we visited the boys' school where we took some photos at the tennis courts (Sean is a tennis player and earned his jacket letters when he was a freshman!)
We had such a great time hanging out with these guys for the day.

Mike & Janet: 50th Wedding Anniversary!

A couple of months back, we were invited to Mike and Janet's 50th Wedding Anniversary party! The party was up in Calumet, MI at an old ice hockey arena! There is so much history in this little town... and we were lucky to be able to spend these memories with friends and family. Oh, and of course we brought our camera to capture this fun and special event! Congratulations, Mike and Janet! Here's to 50 more loving years together :)
